the clearest sea in the world

Weddell Sea

Sea water is the purest on earth contained in the Weddell Sea which lies off the coast ofAntarctica, South Pole. Based on research by experts and the Alfred Wegner Institute onOctober 13, 1986, a disc called the Secchi Disk that has sunk to a depth of 262 feet or equal to a depth of 79.8 meters, can still be clearly visible from the surface. Such clarity is only possible by pure distilled water.
